New School Year Means Possibly New Crew

The Original BMGN Crew was founded from the ROP TV Production class at Mayfair High School. Now that the 2005-06 school year has ended, nearly half the crew, including me, has graduated.

Plus the TV Production Teacher retired to Tennessee

This poses a problem for the BMGN Mayfair Division.
With half the class and the teacher gone, and a replacement currently unknown, We need to re-establish The Group at Mayfair.
I intend to help BMGN come back to school by founding new connections with the School Staff and their new TV Production Teacher as I did last year.

I’ll post my progress as it occurs.

I, James, would like for you all to see lots of movies this summer. Alot of movies. See how the Camra Angles, Effects, and acting. Remeber where still here. We still going to make movies I don’t know when or where but we are. I personality saw Pirates 2 and Superman returns. They where both good. I highy suggest you see those and more of them. ALwasy keep with movies

Website Reconstruction

I am currently rebuilding the Black Spire Productions site with a new better looking layout and Frames Interface.
The new version will be more efficient and have RSS sydication built into it.

All of our movies will be available for download in .WMV format and .ZIP compressed for download. Some movies will be available for viewing directly on the site!

And some more features later!

Plus I want some of you to sign up for this blog and contribute to the blog-ness by commenting and posting about BMGN and stuff!

H4CK | 1N REDUX Part One: COMPLETE

As of the morning of 050106, the Black Spire Production of H4CK | 1N REDUX Part One is complete!
I was working hard on the special effects and final editing last weekend and did major adjustments to all of the sound in the movie, and finished it in the nick of time just before I had to go to school. . .

I will be working on the web version of the movie so that people can watch the completed film.

Also that I will be trying to sell DVD versions of the movie to those who want them, hopefully alot of people will want them.

Music that was used in the movie will posted on the website soon as well. . .

We may begin production of Part Two sometime this summer, maybe. We may feel like making a different movie. . .

H4CK | 1N REDUX Part One: Nearing Completion

As James said below, we have finished all essential filming for the production of H4CK | 1N REDUX Part One.
filming for Part Two is already begun, but we may just postpone it until summer so we can work on it better.

I am currently editing the Final Version of the movie, adding special effects and redesigned music with the help of David Escalante. In doing this, I have reduced a main part of the film from five boring minutes down to three tight-fitting minutes of compact storyline.

So far, we have TWO out of FIVE major sequences complete with all editing, music and special effects. The other three sequences are now being re-edited and new music and effects will also be incorporated into the Final Version.

With all this new data, I predict that I should be finished compiling Part One by the end of this month.

A short version will be submitted to a local Film Festival. I should be recieving more information from that soon.

We will also be working on something for Mayfair Clubs Day: June 1st. As soon as I can get the administration to admit us as a club instead of just another ROP class.

1st Half Fliming finished

Most of the crew knows whats going on but for the fan here’s a leak. We have finished the Fliming for the first half except for any redo shots. We are starting to thinking of ideas for part 2. All that neeeds to happen is that John need to edit it for the site and also a small version for the flim festival.

Tusday we flim the last bits

Well it seem the blog has been moved here And welcome!

I guessing most of the people who are going to come to this blog never saw are old blog at blogspot.com. Anyway, since my boss has put it so greately about what this blog is i’ll just post what been happing lately. Also If you don’t know who is typing this its James Driscoll. Yeah yeah most of know who I am so no fancy introductions.

Crew news

Hey all of you. If your not going to help or your not acting Find your self something to do. We have tons of things you could do you could be wrting the next script or doing the lighting or a variety of tasks at hand. Just letting you know all of that.

Also crew theres a discussion at the Myspace group [ http://groups.myspace.com/blackspire ]. About what we should do besides movies and animations. Go there an discuss. Desmond, one of our actors, he suggests selling clothes which isn’t a bad idea. Anyone know how to make silk screens or anything?

I just installed the new official blog for the Black Spire Media Group today.
In the future, I will have other people in the group update this blog.

So far, we have tons of work to do:
Production of H4CK | 1N REDUX Part One is nearing completion with only one more scene to film, plus that we plan to submit a shortened version into a film festival later this year. . .

New people have joined the Mayfair Production Team recently, adding new characters to the cast. . .

Im currently tighening the editing on the movie, along with tons of other details to fine tune to near perfection.

So far, this blog system by WordPress is very impressive, really worth updating too.
